As a biologist, animal scientist, certified professional dog trainer (CPDT), and published author Mira's a had a lifetime of interest in the health and behavior of animals of all kinds. She continues to pursue her passion for animal learning by raising and training Jack Russell Terriers, and teaching a variety of classes for dogs and the people at the other end of their leash. Mira also gives workshops on training and teaching for dog and horse trainers. She lives on the South Shore of Long Island with her husband, daughter, two dogs, a guinea pig and a pony.
